DESCRIPTION
The first series produced under Genuine, Sahara is a set of seven posts introducing Tuareg culture, from traditions and arts to everyday life.
CONCEPT
Design a custom title inspired by the desert and its culture. The lettering draws influence from Arabic calligraphy, reflecting the origin of the word “Sahara.”
WHAT I DID
• Visual identity / Title design
• Social media posts: photos, videos, copywriting & layout
• Merchandise design
I began by sketching the word “Sahara” in Arabic, then adapted it into the Latin alphabet while keeping
the shapes and style inspired by Arabic calligraphy, resulting in the final design.
